How testing works

Four steps from choosing a test to holding a report you can share with confidence.

  1. Choose a test

Pick from the catalogue, or ask for a quote if your sample isn't listed. Blind screens tell you what is present; named tests quantify against a claim.

  2. Send your sample

You receive packaging and labelling instructions with your order reference. Add tracking and report details at any time.

  3. Analysis

Samples are logged, prepared and run against reference standards. Identity is confirmed by mass spectrometry where the test calls for it.

  4. Receive your report

A digital report with a unique task number and key, issued by email. Anyone can confirm it on this site.

Popular tests

Prices include sample preparation, analysis, and a verifiable digital report. VAT is added where it applies.

A report is only useful if it can be checked

Each report carries a task number and a key generated when the report is issued. Together they point to one record in our database, and only that record.

One link per report

The verification page shows the result data, the issued report and the photograph of the sample as received. A forged PDF cannot be linked to it.

Private by default

Reports are only reachable by someone who has the task number and key. Nothing is listed publicly unless the client asks us to publish it.

Reported as found

Results are stated as measured, including when a sample falls short of its label. That is what makes a good result worth something.

Card and bank transfer

Pay by card or UK bank transfer once your order is confirmed. Invoices are issued for business clients.

Samples from anywhere

We accept samples from outside the UK. Shipping and customs guidance comes with your order confirmation.

Beyond the catalogue

If you need a method we don't list, describe the sample and the question. We will tell you whether we can answer it and at what cost.

Group testing

Communities and buying groups can submit sets of samples under one reference with a single point of contact.
